Actuall in some ways Joes is Right here was no reason for the cop to go for the throat why did the TWO Cops not just put her hands behind her back and handcuff her, she is only a slip of a girl.
I have never seen a arrest where cops go for the throat, the women cop did not help at all just stood back.

She was not wearing mask. When asked to put one on she refused. She refused to give her details and started to walk away. When the police tried to arrest her, she fought. Later she claimed she has doctor's certificate excusing her from wearing mask. I bet it was a set up by the girl and her friend.

Exactly. Any normal person with a medical exemption would just calmly say to an officer that they had a doctor's certificate because they were asthmatic or whatever. No need for drama, bad language, fighting etc
In Melbourne, I think public tolerance for these entitled idiots who think they can flout the law or attack the police at will with no repurcussions is at an all time low. We've had enough. Do what you're told or stay inside out of everyone else's way.

It has the sweet aroma of a setup.

Yes, a set up. And too many of them are wasting police resources on stunts like this.
She wasn't fined for not wearing a mask, but was charged with assaulting the policewoman.
I'd like to know why she wasn't charged with being outside the 5 klm 'stay at home' area.
She was in Collingwood and lives in St Kilda - a distance of almost 8 klms

BTW, wasn't it nice of the boyfriend to film her assaulting the police and posting it on social media?
Just in case the body cams missed it.

I've heard it said that with chocolate it's a moment on the lips, and a lifetime on the hips.
So it is with these "five minutes of fame" videos - for years to come this short clip is going to keep popping up those annoying "compilation" videos that do the rounds, and she'll never escape her fame shame...
