It would seem that this man is quite happy to turn Vic into a police state.

Indeed he did, and the State of Victoria is all the better for it.

I'm sick of the Dandrew bashers.  He's done a brilliant job IMO

We've come out the other side smiling and healthy.

Let's keep it that way

It would seem that this man has been remarkable in reducing the Covid case numbers from 700+ to 0 and 0 for the last week. Despite the criticism, bullying and harassment by the Federal Government, he remained firm and got the job done. Well done Mr Andrews.

sorry I disagree, his mistakes months ago put us into stage 4. So many have paid the ultimate priceSmiley Sad

The results of the Inquiry are not out yet.  The interim one has been handed down.

 https://www.parliament.vic.gov.au/file_uploads/COVID-19_Hotel_Quarantine_Inquiry_Interim_Report_and_...

The full report is not due until December 21st 2020

Spoiler
It's also not the done thing to mark your own post green.

It means nobody else's opinion matters but your own.

There will always be sincere regret - for those who paid - ultimately.

Hindsight is - well - hindsight.

Dan Andrews - has done a remarkable job - given - the obstacles - the idiots - he took the road less travelled & locked -down - pretty darn harsh - but effective.

You now have 8 days of nothing.

I would call that a pretty dammmm good achievement - unless - from the armchair - one could have done better.

Well done Melbourne.

Meanwhile - got a grin out of ' green solution ' - where on earth did that come from.

We are heading for - eliminate - as a country.

No time for ' herd immunity ' - how many die - for that to occur.

That can only occur with a vaccine - ??

The harsh sanctions on our so called - FREEDOMS - has saved countless lives.

It wasn't hard to only go out when necessary - talk to family on the phone - Zoom - whatever - we still with today's tech had the ability to get together.

OK - tooty paper was difficult. lol

We as a country should pat ourselves - we have - done good.

Take care.

So true! The ultimate price has been paid. Not only has the economy been damaged to an extent that it's going to take a miracle to get it back to where it should be ijn the bigger picture, the health of the people has been compromised. How? Well, the mental effect of what has taken place  with the lockdown overkill hasn't been understood. Then there are long term physical effects by forced dietry changes for a lot of people.
