Melbourne get together..it`s about time!!

I have just been thinking(hehehe) that it`s about time for another of our famous Melbourne get togethers at George`s Cafe in Croydon.A new year so let`s celebrate with coffee,lunch or a glass of vino..There are a few "newish" Melbournites that would be great to say hi too..perhaps you can come too..

THANK YOU to all that attended.

It really was another day to remember. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed the company of all. Chattering did not stop, even through mouthfulls of lunch. There was so much laughter and fun. I am only sorry my hearing is so bad that I missed a lot of the conversations, but I still had a great time. Peter is my ears in such case and fills me in. He too enjoyed the day and I did not even know that he had made little gifts for everyone. I am glad he did. Just shows that he too was looking forward to this day.

Kopenhagen is the Gentleman I imagined, and his surprise balloon animals added to the fun. He gave me a gorgeous little pink puppy. Well, that is one pet I can keep in my unit.

Thank you Kopes, but I missed out on the chocolates because we were leaving earlier than anyone else. Still, I hope to be able to attend the next meet, even if we have to come back earlier from Queensland. It is great to be reminded that everyone on these boards is a real person, and a very nice person to boot.

Again, Thank you all for a wonderful day. Something else to add to my life story.

The puppy Kopenhagen made for me is shrinking.

                                  

Can't wait for the next Meet to get another puppy. This one has lasted so far, but it is very small now.

Yes it was a sausage dog but when I picked it up to take a pic it kinda unravelled a bit!!lol
