doh! no I don't touch snakes but it shirts me when I hear people clobber them
one day I got home and my husband and 2 neighbours were standing on the driveway about 5 meters away all looking at a garden bed near the house. The Crikey Kinder were all inside looking out the window into the garden.
My OH yelled at me DO NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR.
OH had a pick
neighbour one had a plastic bag
neighbour 2 was holding a towel.
(These are all pretty big men)
No one moved for ages.
Neighbour 3 came over and asked what was going on.
We had a snake in the garden.
neighbour 3, a huge bloke said, I'm not touchin it, I come from New Zealand, and went and stood on the road. but joined everyone else watching the garden.
Not one of these big brave men would go anywhere near that garden and catch that snake!
Then one of the Crikey Kinder came out of the house, was only small then, walked over to the garden, picked the snake up and carried it down to let it loose in the lake.
4 big tough brave men and a little kid caught the snake.

LL has spiders on his head (I am assuming he is bald as he didn't say in his hair) so he can't have nits.

LOL to the "spider" stories..reminds me of the time my grannie got hit by a train(survived) The sun was in her eyes she lowered the sunvisor in her car and bingo...there was a huge huntsman hiding..she didn`t see or hear the train coming and she went straight thru the rail crossing..she was very lucky as the train wasn`t going fast!!

Everytime I get in our car, I give the inside the once over, looking behind mirrors, sunshade.........we have had huntsman in the car before, last time Oliver was with us, he was about 4yrs. and one went over the side window outside, well Oliver screamed and screamed and screamed, I made OH get out and get rid of it............just thinking about them sends shivers down my spine.
When my daughter had Isla down at the shops at UFTG, she went to get the pram out and there was one sitting on the pram. She went into the supermarket to get a man to get rid of it and they all said no, but one of the checkout chicks came out and got rid of it for her.......so much for big strong men.....

no i havent. and the spider on the head thing isn't that regular an event really, i havent done it in years. we had this other trick though.. the 'moth trick' you see if you get a moth and pop it in your mouth (without chewing obviously) and go into a shop (we usually picked a fish and chip shop) then you open up the mouth to order and the moth or moths fly out. its quite unnerving to see moths fly out of a persons mouth when they are saying 'two dim sims and a chiko roll thanks'
