I have a hangup about women who can't round their vowels. It just sounds wrong to me.
For example when they say "toodai" rather than "today". Sends shivers down my spine. Just awful.

generally speaking I thought men had a hang up about either their shoe size or their length.

i dont have a hangup about it, but a percentage of shorter men do have a problem with me.
i'm not sure if they feel intimidated or they just dont like me anyway... for another reason.
this is before i even open my mouth, so it isn't my obnoxiousness.

yep i have observed that shorter men then myself in general have had issues with me. perhaps its coz they have to tilt their head to look up to me and all i have to do is slightly tilt my head down to look at them. (its more stressful to be short? who knows)

Yes it’s called "small mans syndrome" or "Napolean complex" and its real.

I am a relatively tall woman (5'11") and small men go all funny around me. I can pick the a short guy with "Small Man Syndrome" straight away.
There are 2 types:
The ones who pretend they aren't short. They are always more aggressive and will do things like stand really, really close to me and they "puff" themselves out - lots of huffing noises, chest out, hands on hips kind of thing.
And the ones who are embarrassed at being short. They will do everything to hide their shortness - standing on a mound of dirt, sitting down when they talk to me or they will lean on something.
