Just heard this on TV. Owner said he thought it was a light hearted idea. I didn't catch it all but I think he said it wasn't handed out at the dinner.
crikey - It was that restaurant named in the link on a previous thread in this topic.

they live in constant disgust, the true reasons for that aren't that clear really.

Nothing yet to hang your hat on, What a shame for you. :^O Never mind, I'm sure Gillard will have something else up her sleeve to whip out & blow back into her face again :^O
It was being discussed today that nobody could possibly have more bad luck than the luckless Gillard. No matter what she tries it all falls apart & she scampers away.
I see she didn't beg for kisses from Arnie today :^O not like the sickening begging for kisses with Obama.

I work at the Brisbane restaurant in question and let me assure everyone that the menu was indeed made public. How lovely of the owner to fall on his sword like that. What a trooper and what payback did he get I wonder. Didn’t anyone think it was rather a fancy menu just for father and son’s amusement? Odd that they had it professionally printed too just for the pair of them don’t you think? The fact Brough et al would blatantly lie about it says everything we need to know. I
gave my notice this morning in disgust. It is also interesting that the mainstream press couldn’t be bothered to speak to restaurant staff to find out the truth. I guess fiction sells more papers right? This time next year the majority of Australians
will be regretting the day they voted Abbot into power. Look
what Campbell Newman has done in Queensland. It is a complete mess.
Great article Mary. Thank you. It is such a shame that many Australians would prefer to bury their heads in the sand. Because if we think we have it bad now just wait…."

looking at the picture of the menu, it is laminated i'd say. do they print on top of the laminated surface ? or would you laminate them after they were typed up ?

No the sad part is, it was offensive disturbing, and down right digusting, and those involved should be ashamed of their involvement. We have Tone now trying to push it under the mat and stating we should all move on. He fear's the lies told will bite them all on the rrrrrrr if the back flippers continue to slip up with their untruthful stories.

Did you really give notice without having another job to go to or were you pushed ? In todays climate of rising unemployment it's hard to believe you would quit over something that you were not involved in ???
