I like my message bank... but I only pay $20 and get $500 worth of calls so it does not cost me to get my messages.
Sometimes I am waiting for important messages and at work I can't answer my phone so I let people know they can safely leave a message for me and I will get it on my morning tea.

I have it no fee though.
Have you checked your statement ? I think you may find a charge for every time you retieve a message left for you. I got rid of it because everytime I retrieved a message it cost 5c which i think is a rip off and totally unnecessary. I have $500 in free calls and SMS on my mobile per month but that would not include message retrievals. I now just get the phone number and a jumbled message from telstra at no cost.

Yes I check my account and no I am not charged a fee. Messages are sent as text.
Yes I get those to, what I asked was who has message bank meaning someone actually leaves you a voice message IE this is the tax department please call Joe Blogs on this 629725894-23. you have to pay to retrieve that voice meassage and then ring back, you don't need it if the number shows as a missed call.
