Calling semantics or taken out of context when they try to cover a vile slur on gays is not going to wash but the left will see it differently as usual, will make excuses for it, will gloss it over.
She did not say gay people are like paedohpiles. Why don't you listen before getting outraged?

I was watching The Project last night and was surprised when she made her analogy. A very poor choice of words.

She didn't compare them, that's the difference.
Not taken out of context, no slur on gays, no need to excuse anything, nothing to do with being left or right.
Listen to it and comprehend it the way it was said.
We all say things, that in hindsight, we wish we had put differently, don't we?

She made the "comparison" which is her thinking,, please try to read all the replies before you attack.

Poorly worded maybe but she obviously didn't mean to compare homosexuals to paedophiles in the way Nero and others are suggesting.
Mia is a very bright and intelligent young woman and has apologised for inadvertently causing offence.

she needed to make an analogy to make
her point. ppl need to take a step back.
would it make a difference if she used
another example? what would be more
appropriate?

I did better. I watched the segment and read the replies. To top it off I did not attack. I leave that to the experts.

The "comparison" word has been added by the media.......................there was no comparison.
She is not a medical expert, nor an expert in homosexuality or pedophilea, why would anyone expect her to be word perfect? and I can't fathom why anyone thinks it is so important (I had no idea who she was/is)
