Michael Douglas is reportedly preparing to announce he has ended his 13-year marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Splitsville for Michael Douglas And Catherine Zeta-Jones
"Michael is going to announce the split soon," an insider allegedly told the publication. "Catherine is fighting to save the marriage but he's had it."
Michael and Catherine, 43, have not been pictured together in public for four months.
His spokesperson refused to confirm or deny the claims, saying simply: "I won't talk about that."
Rumours the couple's marriage is on the rocks have been swirling for months.
What a shame I thought they were rock-solid

I was surprised to read that they have lived together ever since they divorced. Don't know how true that is.
I think they lived in the same house but had different quarters. Well I heard that years ago, they probably ended up in each other's quarters eventually lol

Yes, it is sweet.
Must be a bit weird being allowed to visit the Queen in the main castle at Balmoral, after 19 years out in the cold.
No, neither of them remarried, nor had any long term partners.
Divorced 1996.
Until 2004, the Duke of York and his former wife shared the family’s home, Sunninghill Park in Berkshire.
That same year, the Duke moved to the refurbished Royal Lodge, previously the home of his grandmother, who resided there until her death in 2002. In 2007, the Duchess rented Dolphin House, and became next door neighbours with her ex-husband.
In 2008, a fire broke out at Dolphin House causing Sarah to vacate the premises and move into Royal Lodge with her former husband, the Duke of York.

From memory I thought it was Camilla that backed off. She was eligible wasn't she? Just watching the 80's show where charles and diana got married.

I think the people of UK, in support of Diana, were against Camilla for a long time. Comments in media saying Camilla will never be Queen etc. Charles carrying on with Camilla, while married to Diana.. not good.
The Heir to the throne couldn't marry a divorced woman... did they change the law for Charles and Camiila or before they were a couple?
It took a long time for the public to warm to Camilla/accept her.

Princess Margaret was in love with Group Captain Peter Townsend, but he had been divorced so marriage was a no-no.

But didn't she get busted sucking somebody's toes?

They recon this will never happen while Prince Philip is alive, he hates Sara and would never approve!
Sad isn't it, if "The firm" don't agree with your choice of mate it can't happen. You only have to look at the past, Prince Albert and Mrs Simpson, princes Margaret and I forget who? Prince Charles and Carmilla would have married years earlier if the "firm" would have kept out of it!
Prince Albert is married to Charlene Wittstock.
