Misuse of entitlements

Why do politicians only pay it back when they get caught?

and Tony Abbott has us to answer to when he promises another Country that we will all be OK with that in the future

as well as when he makes light of and ridicules the concerns of Australians

from memory, some of the farmers were even upset at seeing the way their animals were treated too.

when Tony is grovelling he is certainly not speaking n my behalf

Re: Misuse of entitlements

Methinks perhaps that if they pay it back when accused, claiming it was an "oversight, misunderstanding, yada, yada, yada)", it probably heads off formal investigations that might actually bring charges and uncover other "oversights" etc, which are much more damaging than a few days of uncomfortabe questions from the press. Then, come election time, maybe we all will have forgotten.

But, as per my previous analogy - if you're caught leaving someone else's house via the window, clutching all their valuables, you are still marched off to the pokey to do some paperwork...

Cheers,

Marina.

I am not insane, and I have the psychiatric reports to prove it....

Nothing has changed on here, seems that even thoough the left wingers are in the majority on here they still can't bear an opposing opinion so POOF ...GONE.

Pathetic whingers can have it all to themselves seeing as that's the way they like it so whinge on labbies, you are only whinging to the converted as all the Conservatives have given this type of forum a miss.

Re: Misuse of entitlements

So, Faun.....you can excuse the cruelty of animals as long as the money keeps rolling in.

I haven't heard of the beef industry being on the dole queue, in spite of their whining outcry.

Meanwhile, the live exports continue.....and the cruelty continues.

Does it matter? It was clear he could not give a hoot about the concerns of Australians, and made light of them.  Like all pollies from both sides

of course it matters..our PM is supposed to aknowledged our concerns not make our concerns and us look like carp in order to please another PM ...in order to get what he wants

A Prime Minister is very different to an MP .
