I dont give a dam about the gun man and its not going to make the slightest difference to anything is it.
A timely process for the victims and their families is important, I cant understand why you dont understand that
So, the coroner says to the families, "Sorry, we can't hold an inquest yet, and you can't move forward, because the gunman was an evil man and some of the public want us to delay normal procedure". "Come back in a few months' time and I'll see what we can do".

It sounds as if some people think that there is only one person doing autopsies, and the bodies have to line up in a queue. If some are done faster than others, then it is because some might be more complicated than others, and some tests take few days to do. and the investigations take precedence over personal feelings.

Monis or Manteqi ? why was he still in Australia
Because he hadn't done anything to cause his citizenship to be revoked.
Still interested to know about others who have had their citizenship revoked and what the reasons were and how many have been revoked. The last Act relevant to this was in 2007.

It is crucial to know about this man by way of a PM and all the tests which follow it. I am sure they are being fast-tracked in this case. It HAS to be done. It makes ALL the difference.

Revocation
Terminology has been changed in the Australian Citizenship Act 2007 from the ‘deprivation’ of Australian citizenship to ‘revocation’ of Australian citizenship.
Serious criminal offences
The revocation provisions now provide for revocation if a person commits a serious crime at any time prior to the person becoming an Australian citizen, provided they are convicted for 12 months or more for that crime.
This applies only to applications for Australian citizenship by conferral.
The Australian Citizenship Act 2007 provides for revocation of Australian citizenship when the approval to become an Australian citizen was the result of third party fraud.
Example: Fraudulent conduct by a migration agent in the citizenship application.
These provisions apply to applications for Australian citizenship by descent and conferral.

Abbott interview 2GB
"Mr Abbott admits those who leave Australia to train for terrorism, 'come back brutalised and militarised and much more able to do us harm' but he insists the new laws will prevail.
And he says that those who are caught will be punished severely if there is proof they have gone overseas to fight.
'We can't take away the citizenship of people who have got it,' he adds, 'unless we discover that they have got it under false pretences but we can deal with them with the full severity of the law.
'Certainly, we intend to do that – to do just that, Luke – to deal with them with all the severity that our law can muster because it is a very serious criminal offence to go overseas to fight with terrorist groups.
