Motivational quotes

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced those who don't like motivational quotes are the ones who need them the most.

I agree with the article. Social media somehow thwarts the purpose of motivational and/or inspirational quotes, but only because on social media most people are constantly being bombarded with maybe 100 or so quotes per day. At that rate, it numbs the reader because it's too much information/inspiration and ultimately, the reader does nothing.

yet here you are...on social media...posting quotes

Provided it isn't the garbage that sounds like it was written on the back of a cereal box.

But here's a quote that has stayed in my mind.  It's from the medical TV series House.

In reply to being reminded: "There is no 'I' in TEAM'."

Dr House's answer was: "But there's a 'ME' in there if you mix up the letters."

Classic.

Oh my golly, I used to love that series...

didnt you say you are 18? House ran from 2004-12. Your parents must be be way cooler than mine were. I would never be allowed to watch something like house as a kid

I used to go around to my Auntie's on weekends to watch a couple of episodes. The episodes could get a bit gruesome and tbh, I don't have the nerve to watch the last season because apparently it's got a lot of blood...

Ah, but there's a difference. Number one, I'm not posting multiple quotes each and every day; number two, people such as you choose to view & respond.

It's starting to read like there was a bit of a deflection thing happening earlier. How cute.

Smiley LOL you were doing them everyday, people were complaining about the frequency. You are a crack up. Also I dont believe I have responded in a positive way to any of your so called motivational quotes so they hardly have the correct effect on me. Perhaps you can come up with your own pearls of wisdom from your years of life?

Motivational - oh yes :

Oldie - but a goodie.
