Mr Kroger and the apology (Abbott and his punches)

Re: Mr Kroger and the apology (Abbott and his punches)

DY: "The case had everything to do with abbott, he 'did' the punching"

Codswallop DY, it was a civil defamation  tort with News Ltd eventually apologising,  whilst Kroger said "he had not apologised to Ms Ramjan and he "did not intend to apologise".

The now settled case had absolutely nothing to do with Abbott, and yet you still attempt,   again,   to drag up this alleged incident (denied) from over 30 years ago. Your actions might well indicate  a degree of desperation/panic.

You could learn  a little from LL who has a more pragmatic approach to clutching at political straws!

It has everything to do with Abbott in my opinion John. There would be no apology if he didn't intimidate the woman.

Lots of people deny allegations, even ones going back many years, that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Did you see Rolf Harris on the news again? I would love to believe he is innocent.

I don't believe Tony Abbott is innocent of this, I know personally 2 of his school mates who say it is typical behaviour.

And this is relevant because...

...it gives you another thread topic in which you can engage in your irrational personal attacks against Mr Abbott?

The incident appears to be typical of mr rabbit's aggressive nature. I don't reckon there's anything wrong with disliking men like that, particularly when they have eyes on leading the country. It's also horrible that mr rabbit's friends lie on his behalf, in effect, damaging the reputation of the victim.

it is typical. abbott the powerful man with mates (who weren't there) ready to malign someone in order to cover up his violent side.

kroger won't apologise he said, which sums him up rather well. .

Oh dear.

How we all rushed into Julia's defence when her past misdemeanours were "debated" here:

"LAW firm Slater & Gordon considered sacking Julia Gillard during a 1995 secret internal investigation because her relationship with the firm's partners had "fractured, and trust and confidence evaporated", according to then partner Peter Gordon.

The Australian can today reveal that Mr Gordon, a senior lawyer now at a different firm, drafted a remarkable statement last week in which he described torrid fallout after the discovery of Ms Gillard's controversial legal work for an allegedly corrupt union boss, her then boyfriend Bruce Wilson.

In the leaked statement, Mr Gordon notes the Prime Minister's repeated denials of wrongdoing and says he formed the view "that she should be accorded the benefit of the doubt and her explanation accepted".

No such "benefit of the doubt" can be applied to Mr Abbot of course.

Yeah well it seems to be ok to keep dragging up the 30 yo old stories of Tony Abbott, but when the shoes on the other foot, I suppose...

I have to go to lunch I'll try and do better when I get back, Lakey.
