Members of Sydney's Muslim community have set up a $1 million television studio to counter the mainstream media's treatment of Islam in Australia.
From its base in western Sydney, the One Path Network films and edits videos for its YouTube channel, including interviews with local sheikhs about Islamic teachings and current affairs.
Mr Majanni said the studio was funded by community donations and staffed by a team of more than 20 volunteers.
A range of prominent Muslims including the grand mufti of Australia, Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohamed, and Associate Professor Mohamad Abdalla from Griffith University have endorsed the project, appearing in a promotional video.
Supporters include a range of Muslim clerics from moderate to conservative.
Known as a dawah initiative, the studio aims to spread the word of Islam among Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
Funded by Community Donations? A large part of that community is on some sort of Government benefit!

Surely you don't expect us to swallow the rest of the ramble.
That sentence highlighted the point nicely, thanks.

and it proves exactly what I'm trying to say about the lack of harmony
you don't invite people into your house that hate you so why would you want these people in your country
never has one of you apologised for Jake all you have to say about him is
comes from a divorced athiest family no wonder he did what he did
trying to find so many reasons to justify this without having some kind of empathy that this is happening to our children
all the while sprouting how good islam is when australian people want to join the faith - even if it is as a suicide bomber
really if any of you are of that faith you really are not doing it justice I can tell you that
and you are perpetuating this hatred but your obvious hatred of the Australian way of life

Your imagination is getting the better of you is you think that's what anyone has said in this thread or on this boards.
It was the loopy Miranda Devine who blamed Jake's actions on his divorced atheist family, not anyone here.
Nobody is trying to justify the actions of any murderers.
I'm sorry if your children are at risk. Perhaps you should find some support for them instead of whinging here and blaming others.
Finally, it is not your place to make such grand sweeping statements that I hate the Australian way of life. You can hate as many as you like but don't push your issues onto others and accuse them of being filled with as much hate.
don't tell me what my place is, you,say anything you like regardless of other peoples feelings
very quick to condemn anyone who doesn't share your point of view in no uncertain terms

don't tell me what my place is
Oh, so you think it's ok for you to accuse me of hating Australia but not ok for me to object?
Ok, double standard day is it?

Means the same in this context. It's still an inaccurate accusation. It's a ludicrous deflection from the truth and entering into the realms of hate speech.
