Do you have anything against it?
Why?
What about other religions? Buddhists and Christians, are they ok?

I could go on & recount atrocities by the millions perpetrated for centuries by ignorant people, but you all get the drift.
I don't see any of these practices perpetrated on people in our country by the Judea/Christian law of our land. It just doesn't happen.
All those who hate our system of law, our traditions & clamour for all christian thought & deed to be removed from all our institutions should think twice before they jettison our civilised practices of law in our country and the human rights of our people.
It's a slippery slope & don't think we are immune from the global jihad that has swept the world.
I believe the great Muslim people who have immigrated to our country are an asset but we are witness every day to young men radicalized in our own country, the middle eastern crime gangs and the sharia law practiced not to mention the so called "cultural cut" that a blind eye is turned to.
Most of that is cultural not Religious. It used to be a criminal offence in Australia to be a homosexual.
Hangings were the type of justice meted out for some crimes. Circumcision is still a common practice in Australia.
I don't believe there are many who hate our system of law..... well some who feel their treatment was in error maybe. We don't have Sharia Law but if we did, it would be limited to domestic matters and only for Muslims.

We don't see much of that happening in Australia by any other religion either (even though the Bible permits Christians to stone to death women and homosexuals)

Not in this country we don't. Not in any modern Christian country we don't.

How can you say that? How could you know in what capacity it would be enacted?
We studied Sharia Law in Transnational Law, and it ios far more pervasive than "limited to domestic matters", it spills over into differing treatment and considerations and penalties and allowances across all aspects of the law.
Any law is pervasive and overarching, it cannot be "limited to domestic matters"

But it's against the law in Australia, isn't it?
The Bible is not law.

100% true Crikey and I am saddened to see the apologists for these atrocities on here. No decent human being could excuse these practices, cultural or religious.

But not any longer. We are "enlightened" about that now.
Hangings were the type of justice meted out for some crimes.
Circumcision is still a common practice in Australia.
Female circumcision is against the law in Australia.

I think some may believe themselves accountable to the Prophet only and above the Australian law.

Some people here need to realise that their religion is their law & their law is their religion.

These are "legal" people that the op was asking about. I thought you only wanted to keep out the "illegal's".
