having known her no others could measure up
poddy, i feel exactly the same about my one and only pet *sheds a tear*
and i do like your idea of an alternative companion
but what happens when it's huggies time, wouldn't mick be a bit on the cold side? how would you approach this?

This is my fat dog....................... that is not his bed or blanket, my daughter's dog has an occasional sleepover and when she does, he claims the bed. He does have a bed of his own.

A simple solution Joz you find a nice smooth relative of Mick's, one that fits neatly in t your pocket, the seen to enjoy the warmth and they don't mind the lack of light either. Problem solved always in close proximity and never cold 🙂

Yeah Joz, keep him in his pocket and then you really can say "I was just playing with my pet rock"

i took my pet everywhere with me including in the car- he enjoyed the wind for some reason, reckon i could muster up an alternative source for it too somehow
(excellent resolution poddy, you've convinced me to get a lovely piece of rock to keep me company & for spiritual uplifting
