My Nan (Mums Mum) just passed away

She went into hospital early this morning as she had a fall and  was not breathing well.

She went into a coma.

My sister was with her.

She did not wake.

15 minutes ago she took her last breathe.

Now i have to call her her other kids in the UK and let them know.

I have to stop crying first :_|

Its 2:20am ijn the UK.

None of my Aunts or Uncles are answering the phone.

Ive left messages for them to call me when they wake

My sister doesnt really know what arrangements have to be done.

She can only think to cancel the Meals on Wheels and Home help at the moment.

She's not sure what she should be doing

Contact a funeral director would be next I guess (they handle lots of stuff, including contacting Centrelink to let them know she has died, re pension etc). You may want to speak to her children in the UK first before you choose a funeral director. Also the funeral will want to work with you for a date for the funeral, and if people are travelling from overseas they will need to know when they will be getting here.
