My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Today is going good so far. I just realised that the posts I've been reading are three weeks old. LOL.

Re: My day

I slipped down an embankment and my feet stopped suddenly but the rest of me keep going. Apparently, I slipped down abot 6-8 inches but to me it felt like a hundred foot drop. lol. One ankle just had a simple break that healed well but the other one was dislocated and broken in three places. I have 16 pieces of metal and osteo arthritis in that one. Its very frustrating because I can't do the things that I used to love doing .

The family home was not a happy place. There were holes that had been punched into walls, beautiful mantelpieces that had been removed and burnt in the incinerator, fireplaces covered up and yards that were also neglected with the backyard ending up looking like a place where cars went to die. Such a waste of what could have bee a beautiful home.

More and more older houses are being replaced by units and townhouses near me. I  wouldn't be surprised if in another 5 years or so that my property will be the only one that hasn't been subdivided. Its such a shame to see what was once a treed area be turned into suburbia.
