My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

I paid $215 for a 2m skip. It was placed in my driveway otherwise it would cost another $50 in council fees.

Re: My day

I think whatever you choose to go with them will work Freddie due to the eclectic colour of them.  They are beautiful and quite sophisticated xx

Re: My day

Thanks Soul, I might wait a while before I decide but may be better with white?

Freddie, do you mean a row of tiles around the wall? I love the tiles. Whatever you do will look good, I really like white bathrooms atm. Mine has dark green floor tiles, the wall tiles are white, they go up to within 20cm of the ceiling. Ensuite has cream tiles with a dark greyish green trim. I painted the 20cm in there and the ceiling, cream.

Re: My day

$195 was for the skip then on top about another $50-$70 tip fees Woman Surprised

I think rate payers should get maybe 2 free vouchers per year for the tip.

Bluecat, I'm so sorry you are still so unwell ...  Smiley Mad, I was hoping that the weekend would see it gone, so sending you good 'vibes' for healing and recovery so that you can get back to everything you want and need to do xxx

Re: My day

Az yes, we will probably get 3 out of the larger gloss tile just for a border between the floor and the wall. The tiles currently are halfway up the wall. The bath tub is going so there really isn't any need for tiles right up the walls, except of course in the shower recess.

Re: My day

tell those germs to bugga off blue xx

think white would be better than black az, just depends on your walls?

freddie, I'm thinking of moving closer to my bro, nephews etc. they live on the sunny coast BUT...I visited him a few weeks ago and was a little overwhelmed by the amount of people/houses/roads/cars/shops etc.....turned into a bit of a hillbilly hahahaa

So, if I win lotto, I'll move to Maleny, if not, somewhere a bit out of the hustle bustle like Nambour or one of the smaller towns in that area.  It's going to be ashock to the system, having neighbours and traffic but I'll get use to it and I'm looking forward to spending more time with my family.

Re: My day

Good afternoon to all..

Got soooo much to do and absolutely no energy at the moment Smiley Sad

I got back last night from a wonderful weekend away with my 2 daughters (a treat for one's 40th) but the drive to the south coast and back knocked me around terribley. The weather was so strange too - the Friday was REALLY hot, then Saturday and Sunday it was about 15 degrees cooler and blowy! No lazing around on the beach - it was just too cold. So we shopped instead Smiley Wink

Freddie, I need to get the details of your Mr Fix it - do you think he'd be able to hang a door for me plus a few other minor things? I need things done here and they are beyond my "handyman challenged" OH's ability!

Love the tiles Freddie! Wonder if you wll hear back from the RE anytime soon?

Loving everyone's garden pics - my garden roses have finished their first flush of flowers already, but the smaller variety in the pots still look nice. And the lilies I put into a pot have flowered already! Must see if I can get a pic up of them later.
