AM he's trying to tell me there is nothing wrong with the vinyl, this is even after the guy who done the measure and quote came here pulled a wad of tissues out of his pocked and wiped them across the vinyl and bingo there it was.

Can Consumer Affairs help Freddie?
I have a problem with the builder who did my re stumping, something is definitely not right with the sub floor. I have been chasing him for a cpl of weeks and keep getting fobbed off. If he doesn't call in this week, I will be phoning the building inspector and let him sort it out.

*Smiles* i'm so pleased you all like the tiles.
Bushy, if it's not sorted after my call to their Head Office I will lodge a complaint with Fair Trading.
All I want is for them to replace it once they do that they can fight it out with the distributor but do the right think by the consumer Agggggg!!!!! He know's there's a problem, but he's denying it, even after the tissue man took the tissues back and showed him.

I don't know why Carpet Craft is fussing around. Normally it is the manufacturer who will be out of pocket with having to replace and pay for the re-laying; unless the local franchisee "got a deal with some other provider of the vinyl" and not through the Carpet Court chain in which case he seems to have brought the problem to himself.
Good business would see him offer you an alternate vinyl with re-lay. Then he chase up his losses.
Tattoo on forehead. Freddie the punk Rooster.

Hey Deb, would the go be that the Head Office would dictate to their stores what stock they supplied?
When I told the guy at HO the name of the vinyl he appeared not know it?? I had to spell it for him so he could write it down.

How irritating!
My day............. I had lunch with my middle daughter.......... did some Christmas and birthday shopping and then home to contemplate doing some jobs but got bored, so off to Bunnings soon, lol. I have to pot some plants around the pool, they have been empty for a couple of years. Woops.......... also have to remove some old tiles from the pool edge and decide if it is going to be painted (with textured paving paint) or retiled.
