Beautiful day here!
Just vacuumed the pool and tested the water, now to get some shopping done and the few cards posted that I need to do, after visiting FIL.
It is the youngest grandson's 6th birthday party today, not his birthday til Boxing Day though, just early so he gets a proper party with friends!
My yard person is coming tomorrow so need the pool yard prepped for that, must buy a container of some kind for all the pool stuff, far too many things to keep going to the garden shed for, lol. I was going to buy an auto pool cleaner but everyone talks me out of it when I go to get one, even the guy in Bunnings, surely they must work?

Good morning.
Around 23 warmish degrees here - sunny & bright.
I have had a frameless screen for about 7 years - love it - especially the soap scum - find the best to get that off is warm water & one of those tu tu net thingos one uses in the shower.
Knew at some stage the silicone would have to be replaced due to mould.
Rang the maker & installers - Stegbar - all I got was the runaround - 'who made it - who installed it, - we do not redo other manufacturers items.
Very difficult to get through to them - they did it.
Anyhows had it re-siliconed about 3 months ago & heaven only knows what silicone was used - it is nearly as bad as it was after 7 years - oh & the new silicone does not prevent the water seeping at the grouting in the stone floor..
Might give it a go myself in 2015 - how hard can it be.
No Angel - Pepe was nice enough to say 'that darn angel again' - or words to that effect.
I admit I was finding her a bit tedious but as she was the only sign of the spirit of Christmas around this home - I liked her.

My above post needed to be posted before I said good morning otherwise I would have forgotten to add the post
i'm old and forgetful these day's ![]()
Sandy your family and extended family sound lovely, so many families are fractured these days. I only have the one brother left now and if you don't obey his command you are lost forever, so I look at this way, it's his problem not mine.
Lovely day here a little humid but bearable due to the cloud coverage.
It's lovely to see some new faces dropping in to share the love with us all ![]()

Morning Debra 🙂
Cloud is starting to break up, so hopefully it will warm up here as well. Mr B needs to take the front glass door off and repair it ready for painting. All kinds of tools are currently being transported onto the front verandah, so I am making myself scarce lol

Go frameless bushy you won't be sorry.

Thank you Mrs Bushie.
The frameless are great for small bathrooms - all glass - so the room looks bigger.
Mine has only 2 fixed panels + the door.
They are very classy looking - especially when the glass sparkles.
A friend has one & keeps one of those glass scrapers in it for everyone to wipe it down when showered.
I tried it - finally put the glass scraper in the cupboard.

Freddie am def trending that way atm
Helen I see what you mean re making the room look larger. This my current bathroom ( not my stuff ), it's long and narrow 17 long' x 7' or 8' wide, which means everything must go in row. The bath will go, vanity will go, slate will prob go, door and windows will stay. I dont want tiles in the shower area or along the walls apart from above where the new vanity will go
