My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

I knew that, but those ideas could be adapted to any shape.

More.

Na Freddie, Sorry.

It looks like Queen Vic's lacy headress.

Re: My day

Well ladies it ALL you fault, all this talk of bathrooms, I looked at mine and went in and cleaned it from top to bottom, doesn't make it look any better but at least is it now VERY clean  lol

Sandy those plates look "scrummy" you  are a clever lady  ๐Ÿ™‚    Mr B tends to keep himself busy, with a whole house to renovate there is always something to do. Both his g/father and father were builders so there is not much he can't do, saves us heaps of $$$$. I had a giggle when I went outside all this to fix one door

Freddie I have  a huge window in the lounge room and I am going to put a Venetian blind there, I like the way they blend in and look un obtrusive but I am very much a no frills person

Re: My day

We have a 2200w x 1600h Venetian blind. It looks great but they weren't too happy about making it that big. It is VERY heavy to pull up which is not good for the mechanism apparently. I virtually had to promise I would only pull it all the way up to clean the window LOL

Re: My day

Just has a look on Houzz ( my fav site ), most of the bathroom room windows pictured there are either bare or have a venetian blind  .... When I think about it I have never had a blind/curtain in my bathroom, the one in the pic was ripped down as soon I moved here

Re: My day

The bloke (very short german) that built the house - during the sale - would take a Camel ciggy - break it in half - then smoke both bits.

Health reasons - he was cutting down - seemed to me he was just cutting.

Nervous little man - having moved in understood why - if he hadn't moved to Nooseaville QLD he would have been tarred & feathered or worser.

Found a power point in a cupboard in the laundry - beside it hung a cord & plug - but the plug could not reach the point by about 1 1/2 inches.

Had to go get an extension cord to find out what it did.

Absolutely nothing - stood & listened - went to other rooms - absolutely nothing.

Still there - hanging around.

And that is only the beginning.

Re: My day

Lurker my lounge room window is approx 9' high x 7' wide, I dont want curtains, so I decided on a venetian blind 'cause I can't think of anything else

Re: My day

Good morning Freddie and Freddie's friends

I just knew it ..... Sandy's has been cooking up a storm! Mouth-watering .......

Freddie - a slim line venetian rather than the frilly stuff (if you absolutely HAVE to put something up), The bathroom is so stylish and minimalist and the frills just don't complement it ...... in my opinion at least.
