Just a quick drop in, I haven't had time to read all your posts. I've been busy cleaning, washing etc, after the last of our visitors left this morning and preparing for tonight's NYE party.

Happy New Year everyone.

Watched the 9pm fireworks, can see them from out the front here. Saw a black & white dog roaming around the grounds when I was outside, poor thing. The  must have run away from home because of the fireworks noise. No-one that lives up our long steep driveway has a dog, so have no idea where he/she came from.

There are also fireworks at 9pm about 10 mins away from here, so double the bang for noise.

I've been busy today - everything has been given a good clean, including the dogs.....BUT!

Baxter positively sparkles when he is freshly washed- it lasts about 3 nanoseconds because as soon as you let him go he races around throwing himself onto the ground and rubbing vigorously!!  

Good to hear your HW system is in and (hopefully) working Freddie. Enjoy your dinner at S.... hope they don't look down their noses at you like they did us when our DYD won a voucher for dinner there....

And a big HAPY NEW YEAR to all the lovely My Dayers!

We are home, the meal was nice i'm pleased I wasn't paying for it otherwise I probably wouldn't be over excited about the cost and quality. I cook better and cheaper meals

B3 When they do that sort of thing you don't go back and you tell your friends people in business seem to forget about customer satisfaction.

We missed the fireworks we normally see them from our front verandah.

NO fire works in my tiny little town, it's so quiet here, no one is around, not complaining, I love the peace  and quiet.

Pleased you enjoyed your meal freddie, I hear what you are saying, Mr B and I used to eat out heaps, we rarely do now, because we have found that the overall standard of cooking has gone down and like you we can cook a better meal at home.
