After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Glorious day here today, no sign of any of the storms you southerners seems to be getting. I went for 2 swims, once at the surf beach and again later at the calm beach with a couple of friends (just an excuse for a good gossip really)

Funny reading about all the cooking disasters. I couldn't tell you the number of horrendous meals I have cooked over the years. I see to be on a good run at the moment though. Hope it continues 🙂 Tonight we are having Panko crumbed Flathead tails with a Quinoa and snow pea salad. And I made a Tirimisu yesterday so we'll have some of that too.
I think I still have a pressure cooker around here somewhere. I might have to drag it out again, I used to use it when the boys were younger and I was working and didn't have much time.

I cleaned up some big pots I have in the garden today. I'm thinking of putting some herbs and leafy lettuces in them. I'm playing golf tomorrow so it will have to wait until Friday now.

Well the storm has come and gone, 1 clap of thunder, 2 spots of rain and that was it, temp is now back up to 33, oh goody   .....

We had crumbed veal schnitzel on turkish bread rolls with lettuce, avo, tommy, beetroot and mayo and now i'm waiting for the Mr freddie chef to bring me my coffee
