My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day -

We have also been taking advantage of the cool weather - went for a nice long walk after watching the Australia Day parade in town.

Having problems with wifi at the moment - we are in a bit of a black spot here.  We have the NBN but I have not connected as I still have a way to go on my present Telstra Wifi contract - have an appointment in the morning with them to see if they will let me out of it as it is such a problem here.  Fingers crossed.

Re: My day -

Hope you can sort it out Rosie ....

Busy day here, removed all the bark from one of the front gardens and replaced it with hay/straw,the steps are 1/2 finished very happy with them so far

The guy who bought my clothes line finally picked it up today, the back yard looks so much better with it gone. Now the brick path can all be revamped and tidied up.

Hope everyone enjoyed their day 🙂

Re: My day -

Evening everyone xxx

A very quick post tonight as I sew what seems like miles of hem on netting curtains.  Had to chop a huge lot from them to make them fit, nothing is 'standard' size when it needs to be....  Smiley Frustrated, but, it's all working out, just takes patience and some crossed eyes for a few hours ....  Smiley Very Happy

Really like what is happening to the various gardens and backyards here, particularly yours Bushie xx

Must keep going, so goodnight all (Freddie, thinking of you and hope everything sorts out xxx)

Sleep tight and sweet dreams all!

Re: My day -

I really should be in bed, I was up at 4:30 am, but it is bucketing down at the moment and I am enjoying listening to it fall on our back patio roof (metal)....

Been sooooo busy! I got HEAPS done today because it was lovely and cool (and damp... but I didn;t mind weeding in the drizzle one bit!)  Got almost all the back yard tidied up,  cleaned the fish tank and got ALL my ironing done!! Smiley Surprised

And even took the dogs for their walk in the drizzle... but half way around it turned into rain so we were all very wet by the time we got home. The both kept looking up at me with a Hurry Up! expression as neither of them like being wet but unfortunately running is quite beyond me Smiley Sad

Bushie, those steps look fantastic! Mr B has done an awesome job Smiley Wink

Amber - THREE walks! wow!

Robun, we have had so much trouble since going to NBN... the latest is they keep sending us larger and larger bills - the last was over $1000 and they have double charged us for everything ( internet, phone costs, OH's mobile etc etc)... OH has been on the phone trying to get things sorted but he has had enough now so it looks like we are going back to the ombudsman again.

*sigh*

Re: My day -

WoW

I am really dreading the NBN. Haven't heard a single good thing. Good luck...the ombudsman was great when we had Telstra trouble.

you have a lot of stamina, really impressed by everything you got done (I am quite a bit lazy) 🙂

Bushie, those steps look fantastic. Mr. B is to be congratulated 🙂

Tas, that sounds like a lot of hard work, too...and not nice for the eyes and hands.

The audition I spoke of is happening in Norway now, so I am a bit wakeful!

Re: My day -

Good morning

Hope everyone has an enjoyable day 🙂  Thanks for the lovely comments re "the steps", Mr B's late dad and granddad were both builders, so I guess he has inherited a few of their building talents, comes in very handy at times 🙂

Sounds like the NBN might be a bit of a "disaster", it's hasnt reached my area yet and I dont think I want it to, it the cost is going to be so high.

Today is another outside day for me,  bark and mulch to be laid, plants to be planted etc etc

Freddie, if you are reading this, I hope everything is going ok for you

Re: My day -

Having some paving done today......finally!! Pools been in for 3 years it will be nice to have paving around it rather than grass. Our first quote came in close to $9000, this guy is only $3400.....much more reasonable.
