My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Good afternoon everyone - just calling in to tell you at long last I have a diagnosis for my illness - bronciectasis with a current bug and super lung infection.  At least I know why I am not myself - started on a month's antibiotics today then a CT lung scan in a months time which will tell us more.

I feel OK, just more tired than usual.  I have been keeping up with your "my days", just not up to responding all the time.  I try and keep up in my other thread.

I'm glad to see bushie back with her interesting photos.  We just need freddie back - she is missed.

Still sick here, pain has eased a bit, going to take while yet me thinks. So annoying as I have so much to get done and the moment.

Well, you have certainly gone the whole hog Sandy....bronciectasis, a bug and a lung infection.

I had a combination like that many years ago involving my throat rather than my lungs and everything seemed to need a different medication.  I rattled when I walked and felt yuck for weeks.

Hope you improve quickly with the antibiotics.

Oh dear  Sick Bushie, sick Sandy AND a sick doggie.... not good at all. Sandy your diagnosis sounds particularly nasty.

I hope everyone is on the mend- or at least feeling a little better.

I have been flat out with renovations the last few days - I now have all but finished the ensuite bathroom - removed the shower grout and replaced it, sealed it and had new taps and shower head fitted. The plumber we got was soooooo picky! He didn't like the way the old basin taps were connected so added stop valves in the cabinet under the sink, and then noticed that the new spout was crooked.... so that had to be replace. He was here for 3 hours, then had to go so will be back tomorrow to finish off.

The kitchen people are moving heaven and earth to get my kitchen at least partially installed before we move! I won't have benchtops (I am getting caesar stone ) but at least there will be some storage and maybe a sink jerry rigged... now I am desperately trying to organise the oven and cooktop so they can start making the bases.

Still got a HEAP of painting to do... slowly getting there though.

How long have you got before you move?  Sounds like a good plumber but hope he quotes for the job and not by the hour.

How are you feeling bushie?  Are the antibiotics starting to kick in?  How's Freddie?

Must get some extra bulbs BC - love the spring bulbs.

Going to a stampin Up (scrapbooking) party today so best move.
