A belated Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary Bushie! Hope you had a lovely 2 days
And an even more belated Happy Anniversary to Tas!
It's been a hive of activity here since the OH got home - we have managed to unpack 5 of the 6 boxes containing our new furniture- display cabinets, entertainment unit and several lamp / tables- and roughly put them where needed.
Then unpacked his big screen TV (bought nearly 18 months ago when he had nowhere to put it - what is it with men???) and then had to get the antennae man in to install it all properly.
We now have
* a new aerial in a totally different spot
* new foxtel points in 2 rooms
* new hdmi cables linking DVD players to TV sets
*a foxtel box arriving on Tuesday for his big screen TV
*empty pockets.....
I still haven't got the boxes of our "stuff" unpacked into the cabinets as they will need to be moved on Tuesday again, but I can see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel!
One week until our DYD's Baby-que baby shower, when hoards will be descending on us! No idea where 30 odd cars are going to be able to park, I am thinking of putting up a PARK HERE sign on the nearest park as the streets here are too narrow and already chock full of resident's cars. DYD is totally unfazed by the parking problem, as long as the balloons, streamers and tables for food etc look pretty......
*sigh*

B3, you must be very pleased to have all that new stuff in place. Been moving things for a couple of weeks too. But I have no will to unpack boxes yet.

Ty so much for my birthday wishes ๐
Wow B3, sounds like you are really powering there now .... Will look fantastic when it is all set up and ready to go ๐ .... Hope the baby shower goes well, how long until bub is due?
Amber are you moving house? or just moving rooms around?
Not much outside work being done atm, it's just too cold to be outside lately .... Having 3 metres of soil delivered in a cpl of weeks time, it's needed for our new veggie patches, so will a busy time barrowing ( is there such a word?) and raking until it is all in place. looking forward to seeing it all finished and ready for Spring planting
Hope everyone in the colder areas is staying nice and warm, going to be another "coldie" here tonight, prob frost in the morning, oh goody lol

The colour of the sunrise this morning with scattered clouds of charcoal grey. Not too cold yet.
Had dinner on the balcony last night. The entertainment? A police "operation" in the area. Polair was buzzing around for a good 30 minutes with searchlight, main road closed off to the public. Police vehicles - and the speed and throaty sound of one in particular - all about. They must have "got their man" because everything went back to normal in time for me to watch the end of Father Brown (with that simply wonderful music theme).
Watched some tennis and then beddies-bye to wake to another day.
I must not forget ~~~~waves to MIAs~~~~`
