My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Thanks azure, they are nice tiles and go with all colours I have found. All.I ever do is wipe them over, never have to scrub the grout. Maybe to do with the pure hand made soap I use? Am very particular about not using anything with nasty additives in it like the cheap supermarket brands have. Hence no soap scum. The  clear glass also seems to stay nice and clear too. Just wish the floor tiles were so easy to keep clean.

Another 30 + day for us here today but the nights are pleasant and cool making sleeping easy.

Freddie...time flies! You have reminded me that I am also due for my  check (18 years free). The negative genetic result this year has certainly been welcome for all my family.....a sense of relief.

Quick Bushie pick some roses and place them on the table.  We've got a visitor standing at the Welcome Mat.  Best behaviour everyone.

Can I pour you a cuppa Sandy?  You don't really have to hold the pinkie at a certain angle whilst drinking from Freddie's fancy teacups.

I find myself looking over your shoulder sometimes on the Blokes thread.  It has a nice supportive atmosphere too.

Morning all,

we have a meeting to go to this afternoon it's just a travel club meeting through our local RSL it's a group of retirees who get together and do a few coach trips each year.

Lovely day here I hope the Princess was collected for dinner last night and breakfast this morning, I shall ring now and check on her. Yesterday I took her a bowl of cut up mango, boy did that go down well

We've already been to the "Bunny" store and come home with a whole bunch of stuff to prime and paint the new music room as well as stuff to reline/redecorate the extensions to the cat run ....

There was a mass breakout this morning. One dog, one burmese and two bengals escaped. They've all been rounded up except for one naughty bengal. She's in the backyard somewhere but the little bugger wants to play hide and seek..Since Miss Clever Clogs was on the run, I decided to bring her sister into the lounge room with me. I have the ceiling fan on which spooked her and now my arms look like I've gone 10 rounds with Freddie Kruger. LOL.  Miss Kruger Cat is having a ball in the kitchen/dining room without her sister. She's been running around like a cat possessed, trying to play with the dog who just stands there looking confused.and following me around. Happy little cat, she is.

After staying up much too late - it was a case of "just one more episode of Sons of Anarchy" - I had intended to spend the day on the couch. I've had my coffee, taken my pills, mopped the floor, cleaned out a cupboard, did some cat wrangling. I have a load of washing to put on - can't wait until I have a usable clothesline - a few dishes to wash, one cat to catch and then I'll be heading over to Deb's for a cuppa and some scones with jam and cream.

Beautiful day here, today. I love this warmer weather. It makes me feel more alive.
