After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this
Solved! Go to Solution.

Mr F collected my films and ultrasound pictures today it was stuck up with a CONFIDENTIAL sticker over the opening of the film envelope.
All it took was a knife to slip that opened >>>>>>>
No report results inside I assume they have been forwarded to my oncologist and my GP.
One picture is a bit sus with a measurement of a shadow
I'm sure if anything was wrong they would have called me by now.

Try not to worry Freddie, easy for me to say. As you mentioned they surely would call you asap if they considered there was an urgent problem.
Looks like your bathroom is starting to come together quite nicely, looking forward to seeing the finished pics.
Darn noisy outside atm, the sulphur crested parrots have come in to roost for the night. There are 1000's of the mall chattering away and making quite a din.
Mr B picked up my new rug today, it looks lovely on the lounge room floor, much nicer than the dreadful carpet that is there atm
I planted all my petunas this morning, quite happy with the result, will be even better once they grow and start flowering.
We picked our first lettuce, peas and snow peas today, our dream of being self sufficent is starting to become a reality ๐

Hi Freddie, I've been busy and not keeping up with events. Not sure why you had scans done, but maybe the shadow is scar tissue.

I love petunias. They are about the only thing I can grow, and portulacas and pansies. That's it, everything I kill.
The beans I planted are doing nothing. The 3 days of strong winds have flattened my tomatoes. I don't know why I bother *sigh*

Pimpy it was my 2yr check mammo and ultrasound the shadow was in the other one. I see the onco on the 8th.

Our tommies last year were a bit of a disastor, so we decided this year we wouldn't bother.

this is the first year I've managed to get them to grow. they are only small but don't seem to have grubs in them yet. I forgot to add lime to the soil before I planted them and the bottoms of the roams are flat and black, like they have been nburnt. They did the same thing last year

on โ28-11-2014 10:36 PM
What do the lime do pimpy?

I don't know Bushie. Some one told me it would stop the bottom of my tomatoes going black. They do it when they are still little green ones.
I guess it changes the pH of the soil maybe

No worries I am still trying to learn as much as I can re veggie growing Pimpy ..... Everything we have planted is powering apart from the cabbage which is large but isn't forming a "head", so I need to learn more re cabbage growing before I plant the next lot.
