After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Any pics, Tas?
The handyman has been and gone and will return in a couple of hours. He struggled a bit with removing the stubborn tap bonnet but was able to remove it. The washers in the both the taps are perfect but he discovered that the plumber who had installed the taps had them the wrong way around - the hot was where the cold should have been and vice-versa - which has damaged the seal. He has a couple of small jobs booked in for this afternoon so he'll swing by after he's finished.
I had to shut Willow in another room because she was hell-bent on supervising and telling him what to do. Bloody cat. LOL. He was a bit intrigued by her and had never seen a bengal cat before.

Too late, Stawka, social media has a lot to answer for. I would have been disappointed if it had have had a happy ending, though, it just wouldn't have been right.

Yeah, no happy endings for that lot. But Gemma had a lot to answer for.

No, no pictures Bluecat, perhaps next week when it's all finished (for the second time). The kitchen is twice as wide now and so different, hardly recognise it for what is was before, I love the 'whiteness' of it, so fresh and light.
Our cats have had to be locked out of the work area as well; they are always trying to be "helpful" but in the end, out into the sunroom and their enclosure they have to go to play!

All fixed! I was surprised at how cheap it was - only $80, including parts and labour,

That was a really good price Bluecat, well done!

Well, to say I am knackered would be an understatement...
I had planned to leave home early enough to get here before dark, then got a call from the RE to say he had a couple booked in to look at the house this morning (nothing eventuated btw) so of course I had to make sure everything was spotless (pick up all dog toys, wipe slobber marks off the back door etc etc)
So I was late arriving... and had problems with my etag so lay awake worrying about that, and the fact that my laptop keeps playing up (I have ALL my stock photos on it - I know, I know a BAD idea, but that's just how it has happened....)
Up with the birds, DYD went off for a community walk and I started painting...
Now my arm feels dead...
But I did get stuff done!
AND my pantry is about half finished, just the cornice and skirting to go on
Love hearing that it is not only MY cat that is a bother to repairmen (or RE agents!)
LOL'd at the son!!
Great price on the repairs blue!

Pinch and a Punch.
Morning all. Weather looking good. Washing machine doing its thing. I'm doing my thing.
Will see what I get up to. There's a list of To-Dos. Nothing really essential. Except hanging out the washing. And that usually leads to a heads down, tail up around the plantings. Checking fish ponds, checking what has eaten my tomatoes. Does my Blue Tongue Lizard like tomatoes too? Or is it a rodent? Or a possum? It's a fight against Mother Nature.
~~~waves to MIAs~~~~missing you
Stawks, an hilarious Gangnam Style. Bluecat, glad you got the plumbing sorted. Tasfleur getting some more jobs done about the house too. Thankyou for introducing your instruments to me. Amber my little mermaid in red high heels, how's it going?
