After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Tas Is it a new range hood? It would annoy me if mine was off centre.

Ty for you comments re our cottage, I will be happy when the interior painting is all completed, the current colour makes the lounge room look dark and gloomy.

atm we are ripping out the rose garden, transplanting the roses we wish to keep and passing on the others to friends.

First flower of the season, it's very early

My early daffodils were all already up when we moved bushie, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if they have started to flower...

I meant to dig up some bulbs and bring them here but never found the time to do it Smiley Sad

Love the smell of them!

I'll have another go at resizing some pics shortly ...

My day

Been away for a bit (a Real holiday by the beach!) so just caught up. Bushie, so sorry to hear about your dog, we planted a gardenia for our pet when she passed away. Az, what a great looking kitchen, congratulations on building it all, too-wow! Lovely piccies B3.

Went to Don Giovanni tonight. Enjoyed it. Very Gothic look. Set in a graveyard for the most part, with moving walls and columns. Costumes were monochrome, in satins and velvet. Singing was great. So this week's been no work and all swimming, MSO, Film (Faust) and opera. Yay (back to work now)

The lifeguard at the seabaths asked me to take the temp of the sea as I'm the only one who gets into it...brrrrrr 13.9.

My day

What a day!

Haven't driven the old commodore for awhile.  Went to start it.  No go.  Charged the battery after cleaning out the rats' larder of palm nuts ready for grilling on the motor.  Anyway it started.  Got about 4 klms from home.  Died.  Arranged a tow truck.  Arranged  the local auto electrician to fix it.

Walked home. Met 6 dogs and owners.  Hips played up. Knee played up.  Mopped brow.  Collapsed on lounge.

I know it wasn't much fun for you lloydslights, but you really do have a wonderful way with words and descriptions .... Smiley LOL

Has the car been fixed now, up and running?   What a day it must have been, blood, sweat and tears!

Lots going on here and the big weekend approaches, so far so good and everything is ready.

Hope all who read here are having a good week   xxx

Winter has already set in here with snow on the highlands and white frost everywhere, feels a bit like Alaska and Quebec!

My day

Hi Tas.  Actually just picked up the relic Commodore.

A-n-ddddd that's not all that went around the place electrically.   The home phone battery went kaput without me knowing.  I can go for weeks without using that antique too.  Needed it for the necessary chat with the Auto bloke, and the accountant.

A-n-d because it's a tad coolish here, I put the puta on, the kettle on, the toaster on, and the heater on (top notch) a house power fuse blew.  Just cause I can I became a sparky in jarmies.

I turned all off at the power points; and swapped a spare fuse into place then cooked brekky, then turned puta on and then turned the heater on "2"

And for any blokes wondering......I got an invoice  "Supply and Fit 2nd hand coil pack and DFI module" TOTAL  $190.00.  Don't tell me I was ripped off,  I'm happy.

A-n-d I've attached a little drawstring onionbag of camphor blocks near the battery to deter the wildlife.

I had to look up "Commodore".    Wow, great looking car, how old is yours?

You did well with the repairs, that's a good price.

You put the toaster on to help warm up the room? .......  Smiley Very Happy

Wildlife?   Don't tell me you have a platoon of creepy crawlies like spiders in your car ... *blerk* .. runs for cover!
