My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Oh Deb, how mean you are.

You would begrudg the local ratties and assorted wildlife a hot breakfast just when the snow is on the hills and the frost is on the ground.

There is one poster on the boards who would be buying them imported delicacies.....you should be more like her.

I regularly buy expensive specialty delicacies for the local field mice who like to come inside during the cold weather....they really appreciate not having to forage for their tucker and leave me alone from one winter to the next.Smiley Frustrated

Forgot about their alternate accommodation!  The house? Noooooo.Smiley Mad

Might have to build some separate "nesting boxes" for the rats and ring tail possums (because it could have been them).Smiley LOL

lloyds, I could just about use a fur coat from that! Smiley Wink

It is FREEZING here!

And to top it off, our (gas) hot water system kept going out so you'd go to have a hot tub and find cooooollllddd water.. Re-lighting and waiting for it to heat up was turning me spare.

Thankfully the plumber came today and replaced the regulator. Yay! Hot water! (And it had better stay that way Smiley Mad )

Still no word on our kitchen splashbacks, but the new blinds are arriving on Tuesday...

I meant to take a pic of my now flowering pansies, but was caught up painting (STILL and AGAIN!) - might try tomorrow....

Thank goodness you have been able to get the regulator fixed for your hot water B3, far too cold to be without it.

Can't wait to see your splashbacks and blinds, our verticals will be here soon as well, probably early next week.  It's going to be so different again for the acoustics of that room.

I hear you about the painting .. you'll be so pleased when it's all finished.

Looking forward to seeing the pansies.

So sad to find this thread on page 2.

I really miss all the reno and garden pics from all you ladies, the stories that accompanied them.

What ever happened to stop Freddie from continuing with her thread ?

Can we go back to how it was at the beginning ............ please.

PS.I'm just a lurker on the boards, don't know how to C&P, or post pics etc.Woman Sad

"Can we go back to how it was at the beginning"

That would be wonderful, but sadly, probably not going to happen.  It has been hijacked, IMO.

Don't lurk, post more often.
