After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

I managed to get quite a few bulbs yesterday and after lunch today, they'll be planted. Daffodils and Jonquils ... 
There was a really good gardener on duty at the centre and she spent a lot of time with us to choose suitable and appropriate plants, a lovely experience.
You must be so excited about the new grandbaby on the way B3 and how lovely to hear about the preparations you are making for the arrival.
That's quite a wait for your lounge suite ... 
, even for Tasmania, that would be unusual, are you having it especially built or covered with a different fabric? Hope it arrives much sooner for you.

Tas, it is just a leather lounge in one of their stock colours from one of the major chains so I was a bit surprised about the longgggg delivery time.
Maybe nowadays they only make floor samples and then each specific one as the orders come in?? Looks like the baby and the lounge wll arrive one after the other!
Just had a day with my sis in law and her new 12 y.o.foster child - he is soooo full on I am exhausted! Not a bad kid, just ADHD and at the low end of the IQ spectrum. Bella the cat was happy to see him leave, he just looovvvveeeed her and the dogs - but they cope better (Boxers being a bit ADHD too 
)
B3, if they are doing that, it must annoy an awful lot of customers, I know it would me especially if it was a stock item, far too slow, hopefully it will not take so long. A quarter of a year to get something delivered is dreadful, unless it was a very special custom made order.
You sound ready for a good rest and a relaxing evening .. what a long day it has been for you.
Had to have chuckle a about the boxer dogs and the cat, they must be very entertaining ... 
I've had a shocker of a week. Won't go into it too much, but involved were an auto electrician, a tow truck, Broadband, a bank and Aussie Post.
With the anxiety and stress, some leathergoods got special treatment.

** Well, if that is what it takes to bring back some humour, I'm all for it.
Applied the dressing, and rubbed furiously. Ended up with some shiny, handbags and shoes; and the collection of hatboxes, grips, gloves, luggage, etc. are looking "fabulous" once more.
So the windows, mirrors and glassware are all sparkling again. The dust bunnies have disappeared up the nose of the vacuum cleaner. The mountain of books have gone from the bedside table.
And the chest pain has gone 
Reading back on Tas' gardening, guidance and spring bulbs bring future joy.
B3, furniture purchase does seem a long time. Just tell everyone it is "bespoke" and for quality, one must be prepared to wait. (Just a little hint - beware a cat near leather furniture. It's difficult to "hide" claw holes.)
Az, the leaving of shoes at the door to a home is sometimes the custom of the owners. I know Thai's do that, and my sister-in-law has a real mess of shoes at the entrance of her home too. And we all have different housekeeping standards. But it is interesting to compare the "good, fair, excellent, clean, spotless" descriptions of a real estate agent.
Time for another cuppa, and a read around - before I venture outdoors on this cool cloudy morning.

This was the real estate, the mat/sign belongs to them, I always remove my shoes in anyone's home but I don't ask guests to do so (but like it if they do.)
It's a bit odd when you go in to see the house, leave your shoes at the door......... then go out the rear door to view the yard etc no shoes?
Must agree with Stawka, after you have finished at her house, you would be most welcome here too Deb, the dust bunnies have accumulated in places that are invisible to the naked eye, but I know they are there ..
