After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

The wattle birds are lovely I like all birds but hate seeing them in cages. There are a cpl of maggies who visit me for brekkie each morning, I am hoping once their babies are hatched they will bring them as well.

Off to the "big smoke" shortly, going to be a "warmie" here, so best get in there early and get things done before it gets too hot

the exhaust fan cover will be hard to paint, due to it's shape. may end up looking tacky amongst your new bathroom.

a whole new fan would be pretty cheap from memory.

or you may even be able to buy just the cover

My air con cover is painted and perfect, you take the cover off to paint it.

Hi Grizz, the cover is plastic.

Apparently there is a spray paint in a can which will do plastic, so I thought I would give it a go and see how it turns out. The fan is still in good condition, I am trying to avoid extra work for the reno man so thought I will give this a blast today, if it's scabby I will buy a new one.

I will post a picture if it turns out OK.

One thing, just do 2 light coats, so you don't get any drips. Eventually all those plastic covers do yellow.
