After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Morning DEB ๐
No reno work will be done to the bathroom until the floor prob has been sorted out. The re stumper is meant to be here next week to put some extra packing under the house. The building inspector has advised us to do nothing until the underneath packing is completed. Mr B's father and grandfather were both builders so he has good idea of what goes on in the building trade.
I have been doing some reading re Daylilys some have a "fleshy" foliage some dont. Mine are all flowering now, but only one flower at a time, so it's still a slow process atm.
Still quite cool atm but looks like the rain has stopped for now. I have a zillion succulents to move today I had them all the in hot house but they now need to go somewhere else as they were getting too hot in there. Just have to find somewhere to put them all prob in the area around the water tank for now.

I feel compelled to say, that crack is not cosmetic...................cosmetic cracks will be where the joins are, corners, edges, halfway up the wall where the recessed joints are, where cornice meets etc.
I would call the insurance company or get council building management to look.

Morning, the tiler has just been to have a look at the mess, to say he's disgusted with the workmanship is an understatement, he said it is fixable but the shower floor tiles will need to be removed and redone. He said this shonk would have known this was going to happen because he had the flow in the recess running the wrong way, and it wasn't even level. We have taken photo's of all the shoddy patched up work. My son and Mr F will dismantle the shower screen, and the tiler will come and see us Wednesday and start by Monday, we need to order more tiles. We will then get a shower screen installer to come and redo the shower screen. I'm still feeling so flat and deflated, but at least it can be fixed.
B3 i'm sorry I recommended this fellow, after what he's done to us I would strongly recommend you find someone else. My girlfriend was going to get him to do their bathroom and toilet, but he's lost that job as well.

Amber, I think I might call into Clear It today as I'm visiting my friend over that way this afternoon, We usually end up there, they always have something different on sale whenever we go there

Freddie, I am so sorry to hear of this dilemma.
Just a little thing, with the tiler re-doing the shower base, would it need re-waterproofing prior to the laying of new tiles?
Yep, a night away with Mr Tapemeasure sounds "like a plan" (as the youngsters say)
