After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Freddie, was this the fellow who did your painting?

I thought he was just a local handyman type person, not a qualified builder/plumber/tiler.   Did you actually check his licenses before engaging him?

It is many years since my bathroom was renovated but there were separate tradies for the tiling and the plumbing as well as installing the showerscreen.  The whole process was co-ordinated by the contractor who did the job.

Lyndal, yes he done the painting. His card has him as a Builder/Building Consultant for Oz Building his linkedIn profile has him as doing Pre Purchase Inspections/Defects Reports/First Aid Trainer Assessor. He has (2) businesess a buiding Decorator which I would assume is his fancy name for a painter.

In other words he is nothing but a BS artist.

Ladies thinking caps on pls, I havent got a clue what to buy Mr B  for Xmas and I am fast running out of time to buy it.   He doesn't need dvds, cds, books, aftershave etc., clothes, tools so now you see my dilemma.

I'm buying Mr F a blower vac the lady in the house next door to us has trees all the way up the side fence, the court yard gets full of leaves and now the new pebble garden bed on that side is also getting leaves and rubbish in it. Last year we bought between us a new good camera.

What are his interests Bushy does he do any sporting activities golf?

The vac sounds a good idea Freddie, we had one a the last house, they are great for leaves etc. He can't play sport, due to a having a disabled leg. I am also limited by where I can shop, which doesnt make it any easier

You could try eBay if there are any suggestions that appeal...as there are so many major retailers on here now. Or go straight to their sites and have a browse.

Any books he might be interested in...that he has mentioned but not read (I know you said not books but sometimes things pop up in conversation)? Take a couple of days away together?

CM, I bet that christmas angel is a bit more careful in her wording of 'where are you going to stick the xmas tree' next year Smiley Very Happy

I turned on some of the chrissy lights tonight. The trains have been honking their appreciation. Dammit. Might have to rethink the the positioning next year.
