I usually don't suffer from asthma during the warmer months but this season has been a shocker so far. I hope that the expected change of weather brings you at least some relief, Sandy.

Afternoon all.
Just had a massive thunder crack. Hopefully it is bringing some rain with it.
I used to get asthma as a child, but grew out of it. However when it rains after a dry spell I do get a bit wheezy. I think the rain brings pollens and dust down from higher up.

I didn't get asthma until I was around 30, although, I did have excema as a child and they say that they are linked.

It was really nice. I'm not very good at quantities so either I was too heavy handed with the lemon or the recipe could do with a bit less. It was a tiny bit too tangy for me but M really liked it. I followed the instructions to make it in advance and the mushrooms had certainly absorbed the flavours of the dressing. I think it's a keeper.
Yeah, the quinoa is expensive, but you don't use much each time so it's probably not that bad so long as you use it all up over time.
Thanks for that, looks good. Anything with mushrooms in it goes down here well. ![]()

Very strange weather alright take care with the asthma ladies. We usually have the high humidity but guess what we have the dry heat happening.

They certainly leave their paw prints on our hearts Helen, our Miss Meggie will be 15 in April. We had a huge cancerous tumour removed from the side of her face last year. It was a hard decision to make 'cause the op could have killed her but the tumour was growing so quickly it would have killed her as well, so it was a 50/50 chance we took which thankfully went Meggie's way. The vet who removed the tumour couldnt guarantee that it wouldn't grow back but so far all is good.
Quite humid here also and have had had heavy rain on and off for most of the day
