My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Bushie, I expand in the heat!

bluecat, glad noone was hurt in the accident. It can take a few days for whiplash to show, so fingers crossed that's all ok.

I was rear-ended earlier this year and felt a bit shaken up, but ok. It was a quick sharp bump, no car damage. The next day I was totally numb. Whiplash and then an MRI showed a bit more. I thought it occurred right away, but not necessarily. So not to worry you, but your daughter should be careful the next few days, and hopefully everyone else is fine too.

My day

Good morning

Lovely and cool here this morning, it's supposed to warm up later today, but who knows what this crazy weather will do.

If you are a fan of David Jason/David Warner  and like "feelgood" movies, I thoroughly recommend Albert's Memorial, superb acting, excellent camera work, brilliant scenery, what more can I say!

Has anyone ever frozen stewed plums? I'm making a batch today but not sure if they will freeze successfully

What is everyone else up to today?

My day

Morning all, we have showers and a much cooler day thank goodness. Thinking back to my childhood, I feel sure the Princess did freeze stewed fruits, it's princess pamper day today so I will be sure to ask her.

I hope Sandy is enjoying her time of R & R and trust this cooler wet day is treating B3 better then the past few humid days.

Have a fun day everyone.

Morning Freddie, hope you have an ejoyable day ๐Ÿ™‚

I picked these this morning, the tree is laden with fruit, so if I can stew some and freeze them, that would be great

My day

Thanks everyone for the well wishes to my daughter. I spoke to her yesterday and she is feeling much better with not even a hint of whiplash - yet. No news on her car yet. I slept poorly but feel a bit motivated so I finally put the containers of xmas decorations in the shed and found where my cats are escaping from the enclosure and fixed that. The bengals would decimate what is left of the wildlife plus they are worth a fortune. My friend who gave me the bengals told me that I have cats that add up to being worth $12,000 because they are all show quality. Perhaps, they should be wrapped in cotton wool? lol

I bought some beautiful black grapes yesterday so I've been snacking on them.

Rosie, I'll be planting more camellias in autumn. they do really well here. What colour are yours?

Freddie, that person is so filled with rage and is best ignored.

Time for a cuppa, then I'll be changing the kitty litter. That should take care of any motivation that is left.

I hope that everyone has a great day. XXX

My day

morning everyone

the sun is shining here today, quite strange weather as it it's been quite chilly for the past couple of days. So sorry to hear about your daughter's accident Blue, but the main thing is she is OK. Those domino effect accidents happen quite a bit

Freddie, its a wise choice not to open some threads. I don't if I am not interested in them and sometimes by responding in those, its giving a person a reason to continue doing what they do if that makes sense.

Rosie, I love camillias, but I've lost a few over the past few summers.

My day

Its very strange weather, Deb. Its a bit humid, too. The kitty litter trays have all been done and the cat room has been mopped. Once the floor has dried, I'll have to do my spraying. Rather me than the cats! lol.

I managed to get a metal table stand thingy up the front stairs but left it at the front door because I had four cats waiting to escape so I'll bring it inside after they've gone to bed. I'll be moving it into the study to use as a base for my sewing table. The table top is still in the carport and is much too heavy for me to lift. I think I need to gather some menfolk to bring it in for me.

This house is slowly coming together. Very slowly. Very very slowly.
