Good morning everyone.

Bushie - yes, I looked at the BOM radar and saw that it was heavy over you.

Looks like this lot might actually make it to Melbourne !

My day

Good morning everyone.

Fresh here at the moment - lovely actually but we're after Melbourne so don't say the humidity is coming again Smiley Sad.

am*3, yes - I had to buy the modem this time but in future it will be handy.  The rellies at Mallacoota have the same one but their's lasts for 12 months.  I could only get 30 days on mine.  I'll have to ask T about that.  We only had 15g on wireless and were shaped a couple of times.  May as well not have it once shaped.  We had our house phone reconnected and now we've got 50g on broadband.  The 15 would have done me but the grandson is using it more and more.

Still haven't read back but I actually went back to bed this morning and now the kids are due to arrive in 45 mins so have to get organised and have my shower.

Bit disappointed in our vegie garden.  Snow peas were good, beans OK but Frank had them a bit close, silverbeet grows nonstop (chooks are happy), potatoes good, carrots had 5 twisted stalks (don't know why as the soil was bought as ideal vegie soil and is very pliable) and the parsnips disappeared under the beans.  Corn is going great, tomatoes not so good and lettuce has gone to seed now.  We bought the variegated lettuce that you pick as you need it and it keeps growing.  It was good while it lasted.

Anyway, best move.  En joy your day everyone ...

No, no humidity that you don't want, it's cool in Melbourne and rain / drizzle just started in the west.

I think Bushie was making a joke about the humidity reading being 92% and it raining hard !!!

morning everyone

Thanks Bushies, I read that ash or even talcum powder would do it, but the tree is huge, I don't know how I'd  put it on the leaves. I noticed it started in a neighbours plum tree which is near our backyard. we have a large plum tree at the front that hasn't been affected.

they badly damage the leaves and most of the fruit that was forming has disappeared, not sure whether that's a result of the sawfly or possums and birds

Debra Given the size of your tree I am not sure what else to suggest, I was told they usually dont affect the fruit just the leaves, also they will drop their lava into the ground to hatch. This growing of fruit is full of pitfalls it would seem.

bty We have had 100 points of rain since 3am this morning
