My recycle bin wasn't emptied as it was moved so someone could park...

Not happy. For the past few months my recycle bin is moved from the side of the road and placed on the nature strip, no problems as it is moved after being emptied during the day and I come home from work and find it not in the same place..  Today got home and the bin has been moved but it is still full.  There is a school across the road and I think due to Easter parade, etc there were many cars visiting in the morning and the bin was moved so they could park.     I don't know who moved it as I'm at work through the day.  Do you think I should speak to the school or leave a sign on the bin "Please do not move".  Sure I'm not the only person to experience this.

everytime a kid walked passed he would kick my wheelie bin as hard as he could, would land on the street. so i placed a few bricks inside (needed to get rid of them anyway). was out the front when i happened to see him doing a running start rugby kick. the bin remained stationary, then the poor kid tried to disguise a limp :^O

My suggestion was a serious one......school parking can be awful and sometimes council need a small reminder of the fact.

there are restrictions on what can be placed in a bin.....rocks and bricks damage the trucks compacting machine

twinks is right though. We're not allowed to put bricks or any building rubble in our bins . it damages their crusher uppers or something. So if you get caught doing that, you get fined
