The one thing I thought both major parties agreed on, can it get any worse?

Totally agree with the premise that we should have been told that the medicare levy was going to be raised to pay for the NDIS instead of being conned into thinking that they had the money for this monolithic agency that takes billions to look after such a small number of severely handicapped people.
Just raise the levy & get on with it FGS, any other solution to the billions needed for this policy is lunacy.
No money for NDIS, No money for Gonski & running out of money for the NBN, all Labor policies used as a political wedge. They are a disgraceful rabble.

Yes, they will make sure not many people will get anything and "save" heaps; I was being sarcastic. But the maternity leave pay stays; obviously Joe knows who is more important. 😞
The only thing that I am surprised is that some people really thought the LNP does care about disadvantaged people in the community.

The coalition strategy is straightforward. They want to maximise this year's deficit and then claim they were forced to make the cuts they always had in mind. They want to manufacture a crisis as cover for a series of broken promises. And just like we saw with superannuation the cuts will be targeted at those who can least afford it.

why read propaganda designed to hide the real cause of the situation?
I'm 6 profiteroles short of my croquembuche for Christmas, lets blame Mr Abbott for that too, eh?
I'm sure if we try hard enough we can even blame him for fact that I can't seem to buy gold "alfoil" anywhere and that my pastillage santas are kinda pinkish cos I can't buy decent red food colouring and the chocolate bullets that I bought to use as "bricks" for the chimneys on my cupcake decorations are too fat and look silly.
Lets blame Mr Abbott for all that too, eh?
