Well done everyone!
Now to look up the meaning of ABSTRACT!
Not sure what to look for, there.
It'll be interesting to see what everyone comes up with!

Brilliant, Simone, and congrats to everyone else there were some truly awesome pictures there.

I think abstract is more to do with colours, patterns, and textures rather than an easily identifiable subject.
You could try cropping photos, or enlarging them beyond their focus, changing the colour. Motion blur from action shots. ummm
I'm making this up as I go along, can ya tell? )

Cropped, adjusted the brightness and contrast a wee bit, and added a border.

Thank you Pimpy. If you don't mind I'm going to save that and use it as my gallery pic when I sell it on ebay LOL

not a problem 🙂
Hey wait up, what do you mean Sell it on Ebay??!!??? I thought you bought it to match the fruit in your house? which it does, and it's a gorgeous rug. My cat claims anything like that and I'm sure she can shed at will.
edit: I have changed the colours a bit by brightening the image. It may not be a match for the actual rug? just a thought, if you are going to sell it.
