We often see foxes on this road too.

Near miss with kangaroo last night

I had a couple of them jump in front of my car just a couple of months back at about 8 in the morning. They both panicked when they saw my car and changed direction, and then one of them slipped over in front of me on the wet road. Done know how I missed them, lucky I was going slow.

This happened to me literally in the middle of the town I live in, not on a dark, more isolated, road where you'd expect it.

That would have been frightening Punch. We have been lucky enough to never hit one.

I have witnessed a car coming towards me hitting one, it was quite upsetting and they just drove on. I called the wildlife rescue team.

Poor Kangaroos and cars don't go well together.

The one you see is not usually the one you hit, it's the one that cames tearing out in a panic behind him.

Driving through the forests of southern WA, a whole mob

came thundering out in front of us.

Don't know how we missed all of them.  Nerve shattering to say the least.

Our fault  -  shouldn't have been there at dusk

Some of those big boys are built like trucks

Some Kangas can easily destroy your car if you hit them. I've seen some big ones.

Yes, and if one does - as my daughter found out.

It is an at fault claim as far as Insurance goes.
