i went to buy vegemite and i couldn't remember which one you said was good quality so i looked at the labels and the dick smith one was "made in australia" which means basically: made in australia with ingredients from china, so i bought the other one aussie mite which is a "product of australia". hubby says it tastes a bit like marmite.
is the "supposedly" chinese ingredient dick smith one more like vegemite?

Vegemite is made in Australia.
It is halal certified.. if you don't object to that, buy Vegemite.

I don't have to ask daddy Nero first, and I buy Promite.

I bought Dick Smith's Ozemite in protest against Halal certification.
It's not as good as Vegemite.
But I'll get used to it.
If you didn't grow up with Vegemite you probably won't like it anyway, and wouldn't know the difference anyway.
