Considering I posted on your thread I thought I should read about your thread, and I did. I think it's pretty cool taking the name (and who took it). I wonder why the original owners of the site made no effort to keep it, or get it back.

ha ha ha, it was an oversight I imagine.
One of those things were an entity buys all the variations of the name and point them to their site. This one hit the market and got taken over.

Cat Ladies snatch Australian Christian Lobby's domain name
THE Australian Christian Lobby says it has no plans to buy back its domain name despite a satire site launched under its moniker.
A trio of Melbourne feminists, calling themselves the Australian Cat Ladies, pounced on the domain name AustralianChristianLobby.org when the ACL, which only uses acl.org.au, failed to buy it.
Their site, called Australian Cat Ladies, says it stands for marriage equality, the rights of couples to abortion, an end to discrimination, sex education and responsible cat ownership.

The link went viral on social media, earning the site about 260,000 views since its launch last night.
A spokeswoman for the Australian Christian Lobby told Leader the group would continue to use its old website to communicate with members.
Site co-founder Hilary Bowman-Smart said the founders' intention was not to embarrass the ACL but "we would certainly not be upset if we did".
"We're really not fans of them," she said.
She said the lobby had made no attempt to buy the domain name, even after she set up the site.
Ms Bowman-Smart said the reaction had been positive but they had received "a couple of comments about our godless nature".
"We thought it would be very funny and we were sort of bored and we wanted to form a club of young Twitter feminists who love cats (this is us)."
She said she bought the domain while bored and waiting for a bus, after a discussion with co-founders about the lobby.
"I just find the whole thing extremely funny."
Ms Bowman-Smart said the trio wanted reproductive autonomy, comprehensive sexual education, and "a society that does not discriminate based on gender or insist that women adhere to some sort of twisted archaic moral code".
"Also, (co-founder) Genevieve (Stewart) is a lesbian and one day would like to be married and free from the homophobia that is often defended by people such as the Australian Christian Lobby under the guise of religious expression."

Highlights ACL 'anti-gay fascination'
Brisbane gay man Michael James battled the ACL two years ago when it campaigned to have rip&roll safe sex posters featuring he and his fiance removed from public.
Mr James said the site was a good way to draw attention to the lobby group's aims.
"As an organisation that has a predominant focus and fascination with anti GLBTIQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer) issues, throwing some light-hearted attention their way to remind people can certainly never cause any harm," Mr James said.
"I think it has further embarrassed them and helps to highlight their continued neglect of the GLBTIQ community."
Social media response
The immediate response on Twitter and Facebook was supportive, particularly from the gay and lesbian community, which is often in the lobby's crosshairs.
Sydney web developer Ruben Schade posted on Twitter: "Well @AusCatLadies, judging by the number of retweets, I’d say you have a hit! #pawsyarn #equality!"
