New Dictionary Meaning for Promise

Don't you think the meaning should change?

Abbott says he is not breaking any, many in his own party say he is.

The majority of voters think he is

Maybe a simple change of the meaning would help EVERYONE

Promise....I don't know why but abbott together with the word "promise" just makes me think of a cheap and nasty perfume.

He has stopped using the word promise now, it is called commitments, so maybe just change the word and all will be ok
