A TV series based on the movie Fargo is coming to SBS in May.
Produced by the Coen Brothers (who produced the movie) and starring Billy Bob Thornton.
I can hardly wait.

It's an interesting career move for the Coen Brothers.
And it will be interesting to see how they tone down the violence for TV.

Yay! Something worth watching on TV.

Betcha they don'tt tone down the violence which is an inrtegral part of the Coen Bros scripts.
It is part of the incredibly black humour......and it is on SBS.

Ima, I notice that they didn't have the actors use the regional accent in the TV series as they did in the movie.

I think they have toned down the accent a bit, But I thought that added to the
black humour of it all

Screening 1st May on SBS1.
The American screening on FX is not screening in Australian on cable as yet.
The movie Fargo is one of my all time favourites, how to be an absolute loser amatuer in all they attempted.
Reminds me of something...hmmm
Happy viewing. Dontcha just love SBS and the amazing programs they show. Remember Mad Men? they really are on the ball. So sick of the sausage factory cop shows from Hollywood and then they franchise them ad infinitum ugh!

Hubs and I have got our eye on Fargo for our next favourite week night's viewing. It clashes with Thursday night girl's night out tho'.
