Nite guys have not heard the latest in the floods I have had my usual thursday night guests.

I wore my flag dress today and felt loads of people looking at me at the shopping center. Usually I am invisible! It is very comfy and cool. Haven't tried the jumpsuit yet but will fit fine. So, thank you for a great buy! Third time around now, great each time.

When youy see car tyres, a fridge and a wheelie bin on the roof of someone's house it brings home just how devastating the floods are.
It was good to hear tht those horses who were trying to rest their heads on a roof of a house were all taken to safety,even though they were injured and bruised.

People/rescuers are doing an amazing job.

On my first honeymoon many years ago, I got stranded at Ulmarra (which is now flooded near Grafton). We were returning to our homeymoon spot and went through a causeway. Suddenly we had no grip on the road and the water was up to the doors on the car. We were both in our 'going away' outfits and we had to hoik everything up and wade through to a farmhouse to get them to pull us out with their tractor.

They were very nice about it.

Thats great glad you like them. Same thing happened to my sister and me last Australia Day
We were in the city and everyone kept coming up to see where they could buy one.

Hi All,

Popping in to see how we all are tonight.

I'm up to my 3rd NPB since Xmas, the last one asked whether she could pay in 7 days, I said Ok, more than 7 days have passed, sent a reminder earlier today, still waiting for a response. Prior to Xmas, I only had 2 NPB in 5 months. I imagine if they are from flood affected areas, paying for purchases would be the last thing on their mind.

I remember the floods in Sydney around the Canley Vale/Lansvale area in '86 & '88. The impact was just as devastating for many families but the disaster was nowhere as widespread as what has happened in Qld and northern NSW. Basins in Cabramatta Creek were widened after the "86 floods and again after the '88 floods and there hasn't been a repeat flood since.
