Doesnt matter what law is brought in, some section of the community will be up in arms about it and any law has the potential to be misused and possible mistakes made.
Personally i think the criminal bikies are laughing their butts off at the ordinary people spending so much time fighting on their behalf.

I think you will find that the ordinary people you mention are doing it on behalf of all of us, not a tiny criminal minority of a larger particular group of people who like to spend time with their bikes.

Do you have a link for that case? Or a name?
Boris mentioned previously that she has trouble posting links. Here is the source:

Thanks meep, I had found the source, I was trying to find the full story but had incorrectly assumed it was a Queensland thing.

Here is Adelaide back in 2008 when Rann introduced similar laws to QLD, Rann laws were thrown out when challenged in the high court as being unconstitutional and against civil rights
The then SA figures were 43,00 registered motor cycles
Apox 300 bikies
only only 30 of those considered as serious criminals.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmgNTJ84jRo
the now as it was then, why do they need special laws for such a small amount of people? 30 in the whole of SA
If they know who they are, what is the problem with investigating and prosecuting them ?
Why are the laws so open ended and vaugue as to who they apply to?
Do such a small number of criminals justify removing everyones rights to being treated equally under the law at the whim of some polly
Under the QLD laws even the police qualify as being declared a criminal organisation

Meep... Yes I did note the references to QLD. The main point of the article though was the law in NSW they claim was passed..that people must register their tattoos with the NSW State Govt. Totally incorrect, and most likely referring to the last NSW law about tattoo parlours needing to be registered.
That people reading that article and believe what is says is a concern.
Yes, I noticed the comments under the article, someone asking about the source of the information and all they could come up with was an article related to QLD. Can anyone submit a comment and inform them of the error?

the CRIMINAL bikies don't give a rat's hiney about ANY laws and will continue to do business as usual, that's why they are referred to as criminals or outlaw.
