Does anyone have one? NOT with currents, raisins, sultanas, apples or fruit of any kind! I can't stand those ones.
I'm thinking more pine nuts and almonds maybe??

I know
but I'm feeling a bit retro atm ![]()
I'm doing a pork roast in the weber and thought it would be nice with a big green salad as well.

Lurker, couldn't you use a recipe from taste, leave out the apple and sultanas and just add what you want to add?

This one isn't curried but I guess you could add curry to it.

Here is an easy one Lurker but it is actually the basics of a kedgeree. Just don't add the egg and the salmon, in fact I will leave them out of the ingredients.
1 1/3 cups basmati rice
1 cup frozen peas
3 spring onions, sliced
30g butter
2 celery stalks, finely sliced
3 tsp curry powder
1/4 cup chopped flat leaf parsley
lemon wedges
Cook rice in a pan of boiling water for 12 minutes (10 minutes if you ask me). Add peas, stand for 1 min, drain well.
Heat butter in a large deep frying pan (I use a wok) and add spring onion and celery. Cook over medium low heat for 3 mins, until soft.
Add curry powder and cook, stirring, for 30 secs. Add rice and peas and stir to combine. This is also where you would add the salmon and egg wedges but you could add whatever you liked, such as small prawns if you want to. Serve with parsley and lemon wedges.

Woops! I had forgotten about the pine nuts and almonds. I don't think my recipe would work with that but maybe?
